...where my wallet is? Either lost in the outside world or put somewhere really, really stupid in the house.
What a pain!!!

Already been there, plus the oven, freezer, washing machine, microwave - a sure sign of desperation. Ripped the car to bits last night.
Have cancelled the debit/credit cards - just in case. There is other stuff in it that will be an unnecessary hassle to replace though (plus the risk of identity theft) if it is actually lost rather than misplaced.
Such a pain. Can you remember the last time you used it ? Think about what you were wearing at the time ... was it a different coat, trousers etc ?
My O/H did that once and thought he had lost it on Brittany Ferries so cancelled everything. The next time we went back to France I found it down the side of a chair in our old french house and he swore blind he had it with him on the ferry !

Mel Have you tried the dustbin?
I've done the recyclables, going all through the refuse bin (going to be a dirty job) is 'on my list' .
The last time I know I had the wallet was when I paid for some groceries Wednesday PM. If it is in the refuse bin it is not near the top where I would expect it to be.
I didn't realise it was missing until Friday PM when I was halfway through shopping again - and had to go round putting all the stuff already in my trolley back on the shelves.
Though I suppose I was at least saved the embarrassment of not being able to pay after going through the checkout.

Not so bothered about the cards as they are the easiest things to replace and are already on their way; there was no activity on the accounts before I reported the cards lost and had them cancelled. Other stuff in there will likely cost to replace, plus the loss of the cash that was in it irks a tad.
Have you phoned the shop to see if you left it there or, if you dropped it outside the shop someone may have handed it in.
