Is your PC still slow? When was the last time you defragmented your hard drive?

I'm sure when MS release a new version of their OS that they add slow down routines in with the updates to the old OS to push you to upgrade.

My firewall/anti-virus of choice is COMODO.

You could be right Mel, I have had loads of windows updates this week and seeing as they don't support XP any more one wonders why.

My XP PC seems almost as fast as my Windows 10 one.

Have you tried downloading ccleaner and doing a registry clean?

For future reference if you have any malware or virus that reloads it's self upon starting your computer after you have removed them, be sure to turn windows system restore off & then run malware & anti-virus programs to remove them again & then restart your computer. Then go back into windows setting & turn system restore back on.
