Delete Basket Option Needed

That's a good solution for sellers who typically sell single items. Possibly not so good for the likes of stamp and postcard sellers.

Is there a good reason for not having the 'delete basket' option proposed by LuckyTarget?

First, you have to have a basket option.

I would except that it would preclude customers using combined postage. Combined postage is one of the things I push as a benefit of buying from me here, as opposed to fleaBay. I also offer discount codes and deals for people who choose to buy from me through here. Immediate payment would negate all that.
