Hard to search

Looks like your browser is caching the old CSS files. Do a a CTRL + Reload or CTRL + F5 , that should refresh things.

Always a good one to try. It calls all files from fresh instead of looking into your computers local cache for files.

Afraid I was not confirming your problem but raising a separate one with that search bar.

I don't see your issue; the layout looks correct on mine (FF + Win7 Pro SP1). Have you tried the old favourite of clearing the cache to refresh the CSS files?

My issue is that on viewports below 900 pixels width the category selection dropdown and the adjacent GO button cease to function. The problem exists for that search bar anywhere on the site in Firefox, IE, Chrome, and Silk browsers - but not in the Opera browser where it functions normally.

Ta, can confirm that it now appears to be working correctly in the browsers I have installed (Silk, Chrome, IE, Firefox, Opera).

I clicked the HOME button above the ebid forums. Then I went to do a search. The box had All Categories selected.....which is what I wanted. I tried to start typing in a word, but the All Categories did not disappear, and the word I typed was not displayed. It was behind the All Categories pop up, tho, because when I pressed the arrow key to enter it and see what happened, the listings for my selection showed up. Good thing I can type without seeing the word displayed.

However...............it makes it really hard to do a search....................................

I have the same issue.

The all category option is about 2" wide, the search box to the left is about 1/4"

Type 1 "invisible" letter brings up previous search criteria and can go on from there.

Basically typing into that 1/4" search box shows nothing (for fumble finger typists a huge problem with typos)

No, the relevant files in your browser cache are now up to date.

The hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) is always worth trying if any web page does not display as you expect it to.

For some reason the Ctrl refresh symbol worked for me and the Ctrl F5 didn't. Go figure. I'm glad to have one way to do it!

If you have a keyboard that uses the function keys for other things (e.g. multimedia keyboards) you have to ensure you have toggled them to act as function keys before entering Ctrl+F5.
