I am and have at present donated 42 pints.( Actually they are not a pint but marginally less)

Yes I have it on this thread once as donar and all the others as doner.


But really i am trying to recruit new blood donars.

Not sure now if donars or donors are right as a spelling.
But recruitment is the desired interest.

When I worked at St. Thomas' Hospital in central London all those years ago, I was on the panel for my blood type whenever there were heart operations.

After living in North Africa for 5 years in the early 1980s, I wasn't allowed to give any more because of possible contact with Malaria and Yellow Fever.

But anyone who can give blood, should IMHO.

I used to donate all the time in my younger days but the last time I tried they turned me down because of medication I'm on.
