Dear Susan and all your eBid friends,
I am writing on behalf of Mama Sue and all the family at the Happy House to thank you for your kind donations during the June eBid charity auction.
Your wonderful total of £380 will go towards our current project to add a secondary school on the site where we already have our kindergarten and primary school.
We aim, funds permitting, to open in January 2106 when our first Primary Class Eight pupils will move up to secondary school. This will ensure that we can maintain the very high level of education they are receiving in Happy House right through to the end of secondary school, giving them a head start for the future whether in further/higher education or in the workplace.
Our children, the 111 in full time care at the Happy House, the 26 free place scholarship students, and the 120 day pupils, whose parents pay a modest fee to help sustain our school, will all benefit from your kindness.

and final page -
Our children love school and we have a number who want to go on to doctors, nurses, scientists, teachers and social workers. They will help change their world for the better as will all our children who are being brought up to be honest, independent and kind.
Our Happy House celebrated its fifth birthday this year. As our family grows and our children develop, we have to grow and develop too. That we are able to do this is thanks to the kindness of others who share our vision of creating a safe and loving home for children in need and giving them an education that is second to none.
Thank you again for helping us to put hope into the hearts of children.
With warmest wishes,
Elizabeth

That's a nice letter and pleased we could help. Is Elizabeth a relative of Jon Gomm the guitar player ? I presume she must be as I saw his photos on Google+ of him visiting the Happy House and playing for the children.
