Sunny & warm here in Somerset.
A bit of a storm has just finished..... several dust bins floating down the river (it was a road). The security light on my back garden reveals a new water feature, others may call it a large lake.
Well you do live in pool.
Has just arrived here. I love a good thunderstorm. We don't seem to get as many nowadays as we used to. Sheet lightning though; I prefer forked stuff - the 'blastier' the better.
We had a good old rumble in Runcorn last night, plenty of rain but no garden water features to wake up to.
Miserable, grey and cool here at the moment.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
Hot and sticky - but nothing like the weather we left behind in the Ardennes !
Some rain last night, but no storms as promised.
The breeze has started again and there are black clouds coming in over the hills .....................
hot, hot, hot. I don't want to go out
Pouring rain and slight breeze so much cooler - much more pleasant - a lovely day!!!

Surveying the damage...... drying out sheds (and everything that was inside), water line shows it was over 1ft deep inside. In places the force of the water has lifted the road up at the gutter so that the road is now higher than the pavement. Quite a few houses have been flooded out in the area.
I have seen storms like that in Asia, but never in this country.
