12 hours on the road but we are home. No problems at Calais apart from UK passport check - took ages as only 2 booths open as rest were all surrounded by builder's rubble. Just glad I'm not a truck driver trying to get over the channel as there were literally 1000s of lorries queuing on the M20/Operation Stack - at least they've been supplied with portaloos! Quiet evening and an early night - been up since 3.30am French time.

And I appear to have also lost a listing whilst travelling home - sorry

good morning! I think my bodyclock is just getting tuned into the German time. And we will be leaving tomorrow. But Jersey will also be nice. A proper holiday in a hotel! Another hot day is expected, but I will have to try and sort out our belongings and new aquisitions and try and fit them into the cases. No chocolate purchased because that would not survive 2 days on the road. But then I plan to be back in September.....Breakfast rolls have arrived. Have a good day

*BIG* yawn - slept like a log last night and still tired. Found another mozzie bite which started itching and woke me up.

All windows open, 1st load of washing in and I'm ready to go back to bed! The joys of coming back home from holiday.

Hope Meebo that you won't have to much heat today, mind you its hot here again today, had a bit of thunder lightening & rain, but hope it will stay fine for village fete as don't fancy getting Pc's wet, & its having a car boot as welll so see whats on offer.
