    I can also evoke a response by stripping naked in Sainsbury's. Is that therefore classed as 'art'? Not according to what was written on the arrest sheet it isn't.

    NEA = National Endowment for the Arts, a government funded source for working artists.

    I remember taking Intellectual Freedom class during my MLS program, during one class there was a fierce debate about that particular piece of 'art.' Many folks thought it was offensive, I just thought it was a stupid waste of taxpayer money.

    It's just another example of what we are talking about; self appointed 'experts' on art praising something stupid so that they can sneer at anyone who doesn't agree with them. A bit like etiquette code, that was designed so that those that were in on the rules could laugh at those who weren't.
