For the second time this is post number 3,000 which means I have become a Forum Saint. I did hit the figure a few weeks ago but I presume a thread I had posted on was deleted, removing my Sainthood, or maybe I was just not deemed saintly enough.

I always thought the post count was the number you had made rather than the number that existed currently on the forums. I never bothered to actually check though. I'll delete this one in a minute and see if my count goes down.

Yup! The count does indeed go down if posts are deleted. Something new learned (though not sure I'll ever use the gained knowledge).
