I haven't long got back from my day out, so will answer your question briefly without research - what colour are the branches on the white flowered shrub? If they are black or dark coloured then I think it could be Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) or maybe Myrtus communis - google it, you might find the answer.
When all 4 of my sons left one by one, I made sure that they took everything with them.
The son that has stored his family belongings here temporarily will be helped to remove all of his stuff, I have enough of my own to cope with

The only thing of theirs with permanent residency is a toy chest for little Mia.

After your info, I researched blackthorn and found a comparison with other similar shrubs, I can now confirm it's a..........hawthorn!
Thanks for help, i had already tried searching for white flowered bushes but was overwhelmed by the amount!
I don't know what the red coloured shrub is, it's like it's got autumn leaves in spring!

Wow, Meebo, your coffee is lovely, thank you

Weather here is awfull, cold, grey and wet.
I am waiting for some storage cabinets to arrive today.
They are for my jewellery making stock to go in, I plan to start making jewellery again this year and need to get it organised again, once I can find it amongst the clutter

    Talking of flowers and rain..

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it is about learning to dance in the rain.
