Reminds me of a Company Christmas "Do" I went to a couple of years ago.

The do was at the Elstree Film And TV Studios - sounds rather grand doesn't it?! "Well, you never know" we thought "we might bump into Tom Cruise or at the very least Chris Tarrant there"! Anyway, we were ushered onto one of the sound stages and the backdrop was ... walls from The Tweenies house.

It's a large local company whose employees and their guests span a very wide age range and ethnic background. The management had encouraged black tie, ballgowns/posh frock type attire and you can imagine our surprise when some of the entertainment laid on was a pole dancer! Admittedly she wasn't very scantily clad but it was a but much for some people - especially when she invited guests to join in! Needless to say, there were not many takers (she did however have a small following of the younger single males!!!!)

I was wearing a long straight cut dress and didn't fancy hitching it up and tucking it in my nickers so I gave it a miss on that occasion!
