Does anyone know what eBid's policy is on this? Is it banned (like on ebay?) or is it okay as long as it is in the auction description and the buyer knows about it?
TIA

BUYER BEWARE
(seller too)
Dude, you're just askin for trouble.
People don't read.
And they don't absorb half of what they read.
Most won't notice the date.
Half of those who do, won't care that it's out of date.
But many won't read or absord your disclaimers either
So you'll get enough complaints, to make yer life misrable.
"you should have read the discription"
Does not dismiss a buyers expectation of quality in foods.
Even if they trust their OWN judgement over the "authority" that dated it.
The tea better taste right. Or they'll try to return it.
Anybody know the FDA / USDA regs on Sell By dates?
In some states it is outright illeagle to sell stuff past the "experation" date.
But this is the internet.
