Oh wow, Trish, what is it about men? My ex was a clumsy piece of work; I'm clumsy, too, but knowing this I try to be more careful, not him, he used to break stuff all the time, thankfully most of it was his. Hope your plants recover; this may sound odd, but my grandmother had a large potted Boson fern when I was a kid and it used to get upended on a regular basis when we kids would be playing and rushing about. Each time we knocked it over my grandmother would re-pot it and it seemed to grow even thicker afterwards, though at odd angles; hopefully yours will grow thicker as well, if not at the odd angles of the fern.

Here's hoping your eyes are feeling better soon and that the tick nickers find some other stuff to nick. Feel free to send em my way, I have some lovely items up this time around that could always use more bids or nicks or both.

    Cheers and the good stuff,

Sues - I saw Dusty the roo on the news recently & they said that he was undecided how to treat cats!
BTW, don't be fooled by Dusty - big male roos can be very dangerous, especially in the breeding season.
We see news items of people being attacked on golf courses from time to time. (apparently they think it's a silly game)

Well it's ANZAC day here & the 100th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli, so in tribute to all, I offer these now famous tunes by Eric Bogle

Thanks, Old, that's what I thought. I guess Dusty is the exception, probably because of his upbringing. I've heard koalas are mean, too, though they look like such cute cuddly teddy bears. Winston is just the opposite, he looks fierce, but is as sweet as any doggy I've ever known and IMHO more loving than most, though I could be prejudiced...

Happy ANZAC Day! Is it a national holiday? If it isn't, it should be.

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
Well that's a tricky one - generally no, it's not a public holiday, but it varies from state to state.
Most businesses will close for half a day however.
This year it has fallen on a Saturday so we've had big crowds to attend all events, especially as it's the 100th anniversary.

PS regards animals - most of them will leave you alone, if you leave them alone!
BTW - I just found a nasty little spider in the house that laughed at me when I drenched it in bug spray! So it got the boot treatment (& I take size 12's) I won!

LOL, Old! We get all kinds of nasty bugs around here and I do mean all kinds, from big ugly field cockroaches that sometimes make their way indoors to big ugly spiders to huge slugs, (the latter have been especially active due to all the rain the past few days and it's not over yet, ugh). Most are harmless, if ugly, though I tend to mash them, too, as I don't want them indoors. Exceptions made for the crickets and grasshoppers, if I can catch em I take em back outside, not sure why but I've always had a soft spot for those and the moths and butterflies.

Winston is restless, no walk for 2 days now due to the nasty rain, thankfully no bad storms like in Texas and parts south, hope those folks are faring better today.

Happy belated ANZAC Day, hope you had a blast!

    Cheers and soggy beers,

Good evening Tony & mornin' to those awake!

Tragic events in Nepal & surrounds ATM.
I know my Bro & SIL will be worried about the people they've met there during several trips in that region.
Also, a lot of the ancient sites they visited, temples etc, are now just rubble.
Several hundred Aussies are unaccounted for ATM, & I'm sure many others countries will be having the same worries about the safety of their tourists also.
If you have a loved one in the area, I hope they are well & can make contact ASAP. (not easy in some districts at the best of times)
