Time for a change...?

We're all used to visiting a website and making a few purchases, only to find that next time we go there we are offered items based on our recent purchases.

Like many. I've found this annoying and so have ad-blockers in place, and clear my cookies on a regular basis. On the whole this works pretty well, but this evening I was dumbfounded. Checking my email, I found that I had a message from a well-known far eastern website where I'd purchased some lens tools a few days ago. This is the important part - I'd bought some specialist optical tools.

The email told me that my payment had cleared and the items would be shipped on Monday. I went to close the message when my eyes lit upon some items at the bottom of the page.

"Based on your recent purchase we felt you might like these :"

There followed some excellent pictures and very low prices on .....

Earrings
A Chiffon blouse
False eyelashes
An Egg cracker and separator...


Do you think they are trying to tell me something?

lol. go for it. Its never too late to try new things especially a blouse, earring and some
false eyelashes.

OH YES! I can just see a dragon with earrings as long as they dangle false eyelashes and a chiffon blouse. Go for it Cam, you might just start a new craze!

Hmmm...thinking about it they did dangle rather fetchingly, were tri-coloured and "in Bavarian" style. I can hear my mam's voice now ; "How common!" (Imagine the mid-Welsh accent to go with it!)

You've got it wrong cam. You have a dark orange coat, mustard wings, yellow accents and deep blue eyes so, go for extra long dangly earrings in sapphire, citrine and amber and wear a blouse of sapphire blue. The black false eyelashes will set the outfit off to a treat!

Describes me perfectly...except that if, as I walk along the street, I feel surprisingly spry, I have to stop and look down to make sure I am not still wearing my bedroom slippers!

LOL! At least they're not making smutty suggestions. I bought a used book some time ago about vintage jools and the website seemed to think I needed adult products to go along with it.
