Trish, glad you're feeling better and that there is sunshine somewhere; I don't mind the cooler weather myself but I just hate the rain, though I know we need it. Funny story, when I was small, I asked my grandmother why it rained. She said the farmers needed the rain. My grandfather said "to heck with the farmers!" and my grandmother scolded him, (he got drafted into the Army during WW2 at age 39 because he lived in a small farm community and all the farmers were draft exempt). I still remember that to this day.

I doubt any of my treasures are worth a whole lot, (no fancy stones or big names attached - in fact none of them are signed at all, except for the awesome older ring with the etched paw print mark on the back side), but I love them anywho and I would really like to know when they were made, or at least an approximation.

Not under dustsheets but under my duvet.

Totally fed up though, I think I overdid things at the weekend, I have a mind that's 20 years younger than my body, which is creaking and groaning after redecorating.

I woke up at 3 a.m. to find that my nose had been replaced by a dripping tap and my throat had become coated with sandpaper, as if that's not enough there is a man with a hammer banging on the inside of my head, this is the third time this winter that I have had this lurgy

No partying for me plus I have no apetite for food (it hurts to eat), I feel like a zombie so will sign off with a choon..

Back to bed and telly now.

Awwww, Graham, I hear ya, my snufflies are on the increase, too, what with spring coming. Rest and have a few toddies and you'll be back to yourself in no time.

I know spring is here because I just removed my first tick of the season from poor old Winston's ear. He attracts them like a magnet, not sure why, none of my other doggies did, guess he's just too sweet or something.

Pos - here's one remedy I've heard about.
Bed - bottle of rum & a big blonde! (kill or cure I'd call it)

Overcast here ATM & I just saw a bugs bunny run across my back yard, the cheeky devil.
Sure sign winter is on the way!

2 days later & the Oz cricket team are still celebrating in their uniforms - talk about a party!

Have just seen that John Renbourn (Pentangle guitarist) has passed at 70 in his home in Scotland.
RIP John & thanks for the music.

LOL Old, love that kitty. Winston can stretch, but if he ever tried to do that I think he'd break something, him or the couch, not sure which.
