    Default eBid Email requesting Information Request

    I joined eBid yesterday. I received an email from eBid today requesting:

    1) Identification Document Request
    Please upload 2 scans of the following documents. Once checked and verified your account will be accessible once again.
    Passport/driving license/utility bill/tax office/council/local government/bank account no more than three months old with your name and address visible. (No cell/mobile bills.) - I HAVE NO WAY TO SCAN DOCUMENTS and SEND. What do I do now?

    2) Alternatively Import Feedback
    If you have significant feedback (at least +10 positive) from another established marketplace site edit and add your unique code (shown below) to your "About Me" page at the other marketplace site.
    When you've added our code to your "About Me" page at the other marketplace site (not eBid) just copy and paste the URL (web page address) of the page where our code can be seen to the box below.
    We will then verify the code is in place at the other marketplace and as a bonus add the additional feedback to your eBid account.
    Your Unique Code : xxxxxxx - EBAY NO LONGER HAS AN ABOUT ME PAGE - IT WAS DISCONTINUED - http://announcements.ebay.com/2014/0...profile-today/

    I cannot reply to the eBid email and it appears I cannot contact them. What do I do now?????

    There are contact facilities in 2 places - via the Help button (top right) or via the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page.
    You can also email direct ~ support@ebid.net

    Real live human beings will respond to you.... not bots....

    I also had to verify ... it is not uncommon & helps to keep the site as secure as possible.

    Worry not. It won't take long for the Guys in Support to help you sort it.

    Thank You Cheaver....I have sent an email to support. I have no problem verifying but I have no camera phone or scanner to send requested docs plus I am an eBay seller and eBay discontinued the About Me page awhile back,. Have a great day!

    The identity issue is all resolved and I am back up and running. Cheaver you were right...support responded very quickly and resolved my issues. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Astral thanks for the step-by-step guide for importing my feedback...It worked great and now my eBay feedback is in my account.
