I would very much like to purchase one (or maybe two) of these donkey pens. The only place I can find them online is charging £3.99 delivery! So if any seller has them in their local shops for a reasonable price, you have a buyer.

Not seen any in shops near me will keep a lookout for.I did a Google search and found this http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...onkey-Pen-Biro your forum post from 22ndnd Feb i never knew forum posts showed up in a Google search.
Using Google Image search I found only three stores keeping these and all in the UK which is strange. However, unfortunately £3.99 was the cheapest on p&p! Even more strange!
All seem to be quasi tack shops for horses; a search of such establishments in SE Essex was of no help at all.
Thanks Brian, I didn't know these showed on Google.
Thanks Cambrensis, you found 2 more than I did, I think the problem is that these donkey pens are now discontinued. I first discovered them on TOS end of last year listed by Hillside Animal Sanctuary, but they had accidentally listed them when they were out of stock, so sent me a Hillside logo pen. That led me to look up their website, see what else they had. My search for a donkey pen ended up with me adopting 2 donkeys, Dancer and Prancer reading about Hillside I discovered their founder, Wendy Valentine was also the founder of Redwings Horse Sanctuary, my husband is adopting Del Boy, a donkey at Redwings for my birthday next month.
Back to the donkey pen, a couple of days before I started this thread I went to Lakeside see if any of the shops there had it, not that there were many suitable shops to look in, but no joy there. There are also dog and cat pens in this design, I have one of each of those, looks like I'm out of luck for the donkey pen, unless I want to pay over a fiver for it...

yes, they were 2 of 5 donkeys rescued in December 2007, hence their seasonal names, the other 3 are named Dasher, Cupid and Blitzen. Prancer is Dancer's son, it was discovered that Dancer was pregnant when she arrived at the sanctuary, she gave birth in July 2008, the foal was named Donner. Not the complete set, though nearly.
I have a sort of scrapbook about the donkeys here.
