Good news have just managed to contact my friends in Yeppoon & they were very lucky.
No water in the house & still have a roof.
Neighbour next door has a big generator, so they have some limited electricity.
Drinking water is currently rationed, but again they are lucky & have tank water.
They raised all their electrical gear up high & were evacuated to higher ground during the storm.(now safe back home)

Hi all, just popped in to let you know that I haven't been avoiding you. Not been too well recently, but am on the mend, I am beginning to dislike getting old.
My 4 sons were so concerned about me that they all came round yesterday to see me, or was it to watch the Liverpool game on Sky Sports, hmm, either way, it was god to see them.
I think I am beginning to be a cynic, lol.

Graham, glad you're feeling better, do take care of yourself, (a nice large Irish works wonders). Old, glad your friends are OK and escaped the worst of the storm.

In other good news, Winston got his stitches out this morning so he won't have to be watched 24/7 or wear the hood collar again when sleeping. Plus, even better, the lab report came back and his lump was a ruptured cyst, (the vet explained that's why there were no defined borders, which is what spooked everyone), IMHO he probably rolled over and ruptured it himself. Anywho, all's well that ends well and now I can breathe again, it's nice after the worries of the last 10 days.

Yes went to Old Trafford From Aged 13 to 58(.45 Years.)Reason i dont go any more.Because i left Season Ticket At Home By Mistake.Went to United Ticket Office.

1.)Told Them My Name.
2.) Showed Them my Debit Card(Thats How I Paid For My Season Ticket.
3.)Told Them My Seat Number Exactly And Where Located.(Upper North Stand.)
4.) PLEASE NOTE:-Nobody else could be seated there.
5.) There answer they couldnt issue a Temporary Ticket.
6.) So a Ticket Spiv Got a Ticket For £15.
7.) Carried The Season Out With My Season Ticket.
8.) Never renewed The Next Season.
9.) Got an E-Mail every season for next 3 years by United.Declined Obviously.
10.)Watch United On Sky .BT or 2 other places beamed in illegally.
11.)Watched about 99.5% of Games This Way Now.
