This takes the onus of refusing an offer off you and puts it on eBid. I think it is an option called 'automate' when you set MaO on a listing.
Just put up 2 new listings with MaO, to test the waters. I set them to auto accept/refuse offers as you mentioned, easier on me. Now to see what (if anything) happens...

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I never set to automatically decline an offer as it will allow me to make a counter offer.

Whenever I make an offer on an item & it is automatically declined, I take it as the seller is to lazy to personally look at my offer & submit me a counter offer if they feel my offer is to low. So I just move on to another seller.

Must admit that I have never seen the point of MaO.

I set my auction start price to the minimum I want for the item and my BuyNow to what I would like to get.

What's the difference between that and MaO - apart from being less complicated.

I chose mao because i am impatient. If i see an item i want, i want it *NOW*, not in a week / 10 days that it takes for an auction to run. I assume many buyers are like me. I too dont use automatic reject, i like to haggle

Me, too, I hate to wait for auctions to end, plus I always seem to get outbid at the last minute, which irritates me no end, (not the getting outbid part so much as the last minute part). If I can afford something I like, I buy it, end of story, though I, too, like to use MaO if available, I've gotten a few good deals (to my mind anyhow) this way.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
