That looks like what we call gyro meat here on the other side of the pond. I buy it frozen, by the pound, at a local supermarket that sells only kosher and halal food. I could easily eat it for several days in a row!

I like the shishkabab rather than the other ones, could eat a bag full of them though as they are a bit diddy round here

I really need to start eating healthy again. Today I was craving deep fried scampi. I went to Iceland to buy a pack and came across a bag of frozen kebab meat. I was curious how it tasted, compared to the local kebab shops and bought it. I fried it in a pan without oil as I knew it was already loaded with it.
It was strong on cumin, but was ok after dousing with hot sauce. The ingredients stated '50% mechanically separated chicken'.
I wasn't alarmed by this as I use all the basting stock from a roasted chicken as the gravy.
