Marmite Easter Egg! (NOOoooo!)

I bought a bar of Marmite chocolate for my son at Xmas - he said it was "interesting". ?????

Ah, so Marmite chocolate has been around for a few years. Google'd it and found some reviews on the river site, oldest review I found was December 2011.

I'm on a low budget, and from the high prices I've seen of Marmite chocolate bars, and with Easter Eggs being the most expensive way to buy chocolate I don't think I'll be trying one.

Take a lump of chocolate and spread Marmite on it - I am sure you'll have a similar result (yuk)

Speaking of curiosity, I had to Google marmite to see what it was. I like some odd food items, including squid, and anchovies and spinach on pizza, but I have to say this sounds like something I'd pass up.

If you're going to try it, let us know how it tastes. Hopefully not like other (soapy) Unilever products.

I can't see that squid and anchovies qualify as odd food items. Never tried spinach on pizza but I have tried rocket, which was good.

BTW, I prefer Vegemite
