Can An Invoice Be Sent Before The Sale?

It might seem a silly question, but a buyer has made an offer on one of my items, which I have accepted. He has requested that I send him an invoice for the required amount. I can't see how I can do that without him 'buying' the item first, so I have asked that he 'buys' the item so that I can invoice him.

I haven't heard any more from him yet, but it has been Christmas so he might not be around on eBid at the moment. The only way I can think of is if I were to send him an invoice via Paypal, but that doesn't actually 'sell' the item on eBid, and eBid will lose out on their commission on the sale.

Is there another way round this?

edit your listing & add the make an offer option, then the buyer can make an offer of the price you agreed upon & then you accept it. The sell will be complete & you can send an invoice.

Be sure to send him a message letting him know you added the make an offer option to the listing so that he doesn't just wait for an invoice.
