That makes two of us Penni, but at least I know why and could solve my problem but don't want to give in. Mike has just escaped to asda with instructions to get me a pork pie that I will probable take one bite of and bin it. I just wish we had morrisons or Tesco to give them a run for their money

the good thing is Mike doesn't have to go very far. for Asda.

Am pleased to say that James & Grandaughter were with us for nearly 4hours, needed to get back before the frost came down going back via Bristol & m5 was an easy trip, he also commeted how much cheaper petrol was in Bristol, mind you ares has been going down. . has anyone else noticed its down,

Sgt you will have to explain to the newbies that things don't sell.

I just don't understand it since they went into litres so just shove £20 in now and again, we don't use it much, just for trips to GP, dentist and hospital apps, gee ain't life exciting

I have for sure. It had come down to 117.9 just before Christmas. I filled up yesterday on my way home (at Morrisons in Morecambe) and it was only 110.9.
Brilliant. I hope it carries on with its downward trend....

Good morning! Yes have noticed the lower petrol prices. And it's almost 10 p less than previously. OH as the driver fills up and doesn't notice such things. I suppose if you want to use a car it needs fuel whatever it costs. We do occasionally got to Tesco, but it rather a long way to drive so only use it if we are shopping there - very infrequently. We had a guest last night and we had a very nice bottle of red wine with our food. As guest was driving she only had half a glass, and daughter had a different bottle for herself, OH and I shared almost a full bottle. And I must say I have no headache this morning (red wine usually gives me that) Kitchen duty is done, a load of washing is in the machine and I can read my emails in peace.

About once a month as I only use the car 2-3 days a week - but I do work there Price has gone down considerably these past few weeks.

Got some new listings up last night and hope to get some more done today. Running out of shelf space again.............

Brrrrr it was cold when we got home last night it was already -3.5 in our garden and then went down to -4. Time to put on your thermals under your uniforms ! I've found just the thing for Private Ntings !

Think I will wait a bit for the ice to melt before I venture out today.

Bath is too posh for a Tesco's petrol station Private Wicca !!! We only have three petrol stations now near the city centre which causes all sorts of problems if one has to close down for some reason and they are Sainsbury's and Esso. We used to have loads of small petrol stations when I first moved here but they have all closed down now which is ridiculous for a city this size.

    A word to the wise,

all fuels you put in your cars have additives, to help with combustion fuel efficiency ,ect, these are part of the pump cost to you , there is a legal minimum for certain additives , so all supermarket fuel has to comply with the minimum, were as, some one like shell might be above this minimum, for there basic fuel, and also offer a premium fuel as well, at a higher cost,

eg diesel fuel with a increased Cetane number higher-cetane fuel usually causes an engine to run more smoothly and quietly. This does not necessarily translate into greater efficiency, although it may in certain engines. particularly good for the engine on frosty morning starts, overall less wear to the engine over its life time , increasing efficiency , if you was to use shell premium fuel for two tank fulls given your engine is in good condition the difference in economy , starting ,and power output would be very noticeable .
