Anyone know which hospital he's in? If close to someone, maybe they can go check on him.

He's in Torbay Hospital in Torquay, Devon, Poppa. I don't think there is anyone on the forums from that area. I sent a get well card to the hospital, I hope he has got it as I didn't know which ward he is on.

I am really sorry to have got you worried by my absence. I've just had a rough few days and between constant exhaustion and feeling depressed wasn't up to posting.

So, the doctors tell me I am getting better. My skin is growing back quite well on my left leg and there will not be any need (at this time) for an opperation.

The right leg erupted in huge ugly blisters that became huge sacks of bile coloured gunk. In places those have joined up, too.

Apparently, this just one of them things wot happens sometimes and should eventually clear up.

Anyway, my good news is that I have lost three stone in the last two weeks. Mostly because the fluid filled swelling of my left leg has gone down. So that cheered me up.


I didn't receive the get well card - and thank you so much for sending one - but I will see if I can find out where it might be.

So that is all for now. I will get online when I can.

So relieved to hear that things are improving a bit Damian. I expect the card has just got held up in the Christmas post. I wrote 'patient' next to your name so I hope the hospital post room will figure out where you are eventually !!!
