If I come to power, I will abolish all income tax, make beer and chocolate free, double the Old Age Pension, halve bus and train fares and make the energy companies pay us to use their gas and electricity.

Interesting point in the second article. £1.2m is lost to fraud each year. That's actually less than the amount of tax payer subsidy given to the House of Lords bars and restaurants.

All in all, £5m is given as subsidy every year between the Lords and the Commons.

Your only saying that because you can see a market in knitting mens socks, exploiting the environment so you can make a lot of money knitting socks selling them to men , playing on there conscience so they think there helping the environment , when we all know wearing a pair of slippers will reduce green house emissions and save on the heating bills , its bad enough governments exploiting the environment angle, but the knitting union as well
