Was watching this story develop late last night, shocking scenes, but the amount raised in such a short time is phenomenal!
The Cheshire Dogs Home where the dogs were transferred too is just down the road from me so popped down earlier with a couple of bags of dog food, not a lot but happy to add something to the effort. There was a continuous flow of people in and out and in the face of such a tragedy the mood was good natured and sort of jolly, if that makes sense.
Only thing to do really is hope that the smoke got to them first so it was as painless as possible.
Also feel for the staff and volunteers and the next weeks and months which will no doubt be extremely difficult picking up the pieces and rebuilding

Unbelievable that a young lad could do something so cruel, if he did. The excuse, if you can call it that, is that the lad was hospitalised after being attacked by a dog...I'm just speechless...
