Well we got to the bottom of what is happening in France. Apparently because the next door neighbour has got a mortgage on his farm there has to be approval from his bank before the land swop and the notaire says the bank hasn't replied and that they first contacted them on the 10th July. Now the notaire knew that everybody was coming in to sign yesterday so why on earth didn't they get the bank on the phone and demand to get things sorted ?! It's just sheer laziness and incompetence by both the bank and the notaire. I'm so cross !

Now I'm pleased to see you have all been good
( eek, better not mention that I lost another one yesterday evening) keep up the good work chaps. The listing numbers are beginning to creep up again slowly now that soldiers are getting back from leave.

Meebo in Scotland we make a dish called Stovies using left over meat. There are so many different recipes for it online but my mums method was to peel and cube potatoes and a large onion and put them in the pan with just enough water to cover them. (If there wasn't a lot of meat she would add an oxo cube). After simmering for 10 minutes she added the cooked meat, usually slice sausage (Lorne sausage) or at Christmas Roast Beef. She salted and peppered heavily added some more water and left the whole lot to cook for an hour or more. Tasted delicious. Slice sausage is a lot like beefburgers so i'm sure they would work.

Overcast here. Managed 30 rows of knitting yesterday (of just 70 stitches) and am going to attempt some more today. But first an apple and cinnamon tea.

No she isn't. Have you observed all of her notices are in such small print that she thinks we won't see it. And she had the nerve to announce another one today.

If you still have the photo stored you swap the one on the listing to the one your PC. Now I won't bother till it comes to editing postage rates again. I expect that is only 6 months away

Just got one ready to take to the post office. It was a relist that was sitting in my closed bunch for a while. Relisted, and was just in the process of determining if I was going to revise the price or the cost of shipping and *!*, it was sold. Three minutes. Paid for in five. Also, had another be sold quickly. It was about a week ago and was a new listing that was sold and paid for within 45 minutes.

Hi meebo, sorry yes I know how to do that but I meant in bulk, link ebid put them on so can't they take them back off, she says hopefully, but I guess not. I will have to go back years for some of them, at the moment I am just not reposting the ones with a logo on from today.
