Moving Item to my store?

It's been awhile since my last sale and/or listing here, but I'm back. Have listed an item and set up a store, however am not sure how to bring them together. Looked high and low, can't find a way to do that.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi, Welcome Back!

Go to the listing and select "edit"; click box to right of "select eBid store category" and select the store you want the item to show in. You can also select a category next to the store, if set up. Then save.

The store categories are set up in "My eBid Stores" section.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I however couldn't see said box to the right. It's just not there.

I went back to the store and lo and behold, it shows as Offline. I followed the steps to the letter. Namely, I uploaded the banner, exactly 310x90; I set up the store title, description, colors & classification; I created categories & subcategories. Lastly, I clicked the box Online... and nothing happened; it's still Offline. I guess this is my problem, however don't know what I did wrong. Hmmm.

I think it will be offline until listings are in the store. Contact eBid support and they will be able to assist you. Someone else may come by that can offer additional advise.

Did you upload (save) your steps after selecting "online"? This would be for the second section.

I did, and by the way, tried to do the same to change my avatar, to no avail. It's in JPEG format, only 18 KB.

Just my bad luck on Saturday night.

While you say you have done it, it does not sound as if you have saved the changes to your store. It is worth double checking before going to support or chasing around in circles.

Go back to your store configuration, set the option to Online, scroll down slightly and click the Update Section 2 button.

Then go back and edit your listing and the option to place it in a store should be available. Don't leave it too long between placing the store online and putting something in it; empty stores are taken offline again after period of time.

Maximum size for avatar is 15KB.You could always contact support & ask for an increase in size.They did increase it in 2011 from 10 to 15 so they might give us another 5.

Thank you very much EVERYBODY who replied. I finally got it up and going, yay!!

My Avatar is now just under 10 kb but looks very funny on my only listing. It's outstretched vertically. I've changed the dimensions to 310 x 66 (couldn't get 90), yet it still looks funny. On the other hand, this might prompt the buyers to click just the right button lol.
