The item in the 1st post has been closed as it sold elsewhere, but I listed another comic & still not uploaded to Google Shopping.

There have been other people posting in a different thread about listings not showing in Google Shopping, can someone from eBid please let us know what is going on. One of the main things to help with sales here is Google Shopping exposure, which seems not to be happening now.

In case Gazza is still around... I would love to know why this item http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=unr....0.bd22Nw_Dc48 is having its description replaced to something not on the listing. Makes my trying to get the best keywords pretty pointless.
Please bystanders, don't click through from Google to the eBid listing. The eBid listing is here: http://uk.ebid.net/for-sale/50299880...-130722068.htm

Google are adding their own description. This will be based on the barcode of the item. They will more than likely be using a third party provider of specific item data.

eBid to Upload my BuyNows to Google Shopping? Yes No
Very easy to click no... as i did
That's ridiculous. How can they describe an item someone else is selling - particularly a used item? What's next, they alter the price to what they think it should be?
Thanks for the response (not having a go at you), just that Google are starting to get silly. Always happens when a company gets too big and powerful; a corporate madness sets in.
I wonder how this will effect eBid, yet another change to Google Shopping.
