    Default myHermes discount?

I've a parcel weighing over 3kg to send tomorrow and will be using myHermes for the first time.
I read a while back of a discount code for new customers, has anyone any information on that please?

Also, do I need to provide them with the buyers telephone number?

No idea about discount but customers telephone number is optional. I rarely have it to give
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

Not aware of any discount - but worth Googling.

No, leaving the buyers tel. no. or email is not obligatory.

I've just posted some china via Hermes: Royal Mail price £13.50. Hermes £5.20.

You need to input the buyer's email so that myHermes can send them an email when parcel is collected along with tracking number.

I've been using them a while now, but have never been given a first time user's discount code

But try googling for myhermes discount codes - apparently loads available.

There is generally a 25% discount the first time you use them, I had a leaflet but I think you get the option when you join and use for the first time.

I don't have mine collected - I drop them off at the petrol station down the road. It is then a simple matter of marking 'dispatched' and entering the tracking number.

Don't sell enough to warrant collection

The nearest myHermes drop off point for me is over 30 miles away! Hence why i use Collection.

Collect+ is round the corner at the local shop, but not too keen to use them.

Collection makes it a 3 day service instead of 2 and costs a little more. I tend to drop off mine, but there is a shop just over a mile away and one the other way that I frequently pass about 2.5 miles away.

Thanks again for all the helpful info if I don't get the discount option when I join I did find a code on google, so I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow.
I'll be using the drop off service - my nearest Parcelshop is two doors down from the post office, very handy!
