I searched ebid nascar sponsor.
Thanks for all the replies!
Sort of related... I find it rather sad and a little depressing that the top level domain "ebid.com" has basically been "squatting" for almost a decade-- never turned into a web site, and never purchased by "our" eBid.
I guess the ostensible "owners" are just sitting there, waiting for someone to make an offer... but it has been there (dormant) for so long it has become one of those almost unusable "glamour domains" because eBid (dot-net) effectively "owns" the term "eBid," simply through a long track record of usage... no business person with even an ounce of sense would pick it up and run it side by side with eBid.net.
Aren't there "domain squatting" laws that limit someone's rights to "hold" a domain name simply for the purpose of bilking a business out of cash to buy it?
Just thinking out loud...

When I did a search of eBid.com it brought eBid.net up first so don't think .com would be a plus for this site after all of these years.
As I recall it is not for sale. The current owner is only willing to lease it to eBid for a lot of money and part ownership of eBid. Some references here: http://www.ebid.net/forums/showthrea...=1#post1588944
