When I was doing my O level art back in the seventies I was heavy into cubism and surealism. Loved Dali and many years later I got to see Dali's Santiago El Grande in theBeaverbrook art gallery in Fredericton New Brunswick. Absolutely huge and stunning. I believe it is still on display as part of the permanent collection.
Have to admit a liking for Jack Vettriano's work...
Michelle Emblem. I bought one of her pictures in 1981 and at the time it cost me 2 weeks wages. It still hangs in my living room.
I also have a print called Ancient Hill by Julianna someone. My daughter bought me it with her first wage.
I love the moonlight paintings of Alison Rodger and some of her nature series ones.
Other than that I can't think![]()

I've only ever bought original art from one artist - so I guess they must be my favourite. I obviously don't like such as van Gogh, Rembrandt, Michelangelo, etc., as I have never bought one of their paintings.
I'm partial to van Gogh.
He was as crazy as I am!
seeing as no one has mentioned mine i will keep my mouth shut.
I do have one original watercolour by Margaret Stevens, twas a wedding present.
favorite artist came from Salford BTW![]()
