I was a Grandmother at 37, and I was 42 when Michael was born. He ran me into the ground as he only slept about 4 hours in 24, usually 30 to 45 minutes at a time. I'm 60 this year, and I know darned well I couldn't cope with night feeds, dirty nappies, and the "Total Zombie Syndrome". You know, the cauliflower between the ears instead of brains. No Ta, not for me, though I would have liked a son of my own.

My mum was 44 when she died, my age next birthday! A worrying thought!
