I realise it will not be of importance to many sellers but sellers of collectibles do sell more than 100 items on occasions.
    Thank you

However it can be a right pain and should be addressed. If any PayPal limit can't be overcome couldn't the invoice just list the first 98 items and then have a single composite item with a caption, say, "A further n items not detailed:"

I sold 254 stamps to a new eBid member.

The system only produced an invoice for the first 99 items.

To calculate the total invoice price (so that I could create a PayPal invoice) and produce a picking/packing list, so that I could identify which stamps he had bought, reqired me to create a basic Excel Spread Sheet.

    It was very time consuming.
Sorry if this seems like a silly question(s).

Is this for Pay Pal invoices, eBid or both?
Doesn't Pay Pal charge based on $$$ amount of items not quantity of items?

I'm trying to understand the dilemma so please be patient.
If you send for example (MPS) scenario 2 invoices for 99 items and 1 for 56 items, wouldn't the buyer (once logged into Pay Pal) pay all 3 invoices at the same time/same transaction?

Paypal charges a seller 3.4% + 20p per transaction. (uk) So additional invoices will each increase the fee paid.

    (it wasn't a silly question)

Thanks for the backing from you all. I hope someone in admin is reading this thread.
It does seem to be a case of the tail wagging the dog that Paypal can dictate how many items eBid can put on an invoice. Paypal is only a payment method, after all.

Thank you. Is this an issue with eBid invoice, Pay Pal invoice or both?

I don't know for sure - I don't know whether there is a limit on the number of items on a paypal - I can't see one in the paypal help section.

It does seem to be an issue with the eBid invoice. Of course, if it is a paypal problem, this is not the place to ask for a change.

Reading #14 it sounds like an eBid issue.

Should be corrected immediately. For those affected you may want to contact support rather than hope eBid sees this thread.
My opinion it's not a glitch or suggestion but a flaw in the system.

PayPal place a limit of 99 items per each individual payment. We are forced to use this limit due to this.

    Thx,

Couldn't you compress the invoice so paypal don't see that it is for more than 99 items? gazza?

I would think that for seller & buyer protection it would have to show each item that was purchased.
