Tony, do me a favour and stop posting on any of my threads.
You seem completely unable to post on the topic of the thread and, to be quite honest IMO the comments you do make are rarely worth reading.
So if you want to gibber on about why one thread has more stars than another thread, then start your own thread and see how many stars it gets.

Just had an update security patch for XP from microsoft, I heard it sort of announced at 2.30 this morning on news 24 saying that just this once they would update XP as well.

Thanks for that, Linda - just updated my old PC, the laptop and my netbook - all run XP.

I guess if Homeland Security want people to stop using IE it must mean some bug has accidentally closed the NSA's back door!

Luckily I can't easily run IE on Ubuntu, lucky in several ways, for Firefox and Google Chrome are both better (and easily available on Windows too). It's amazing how many users never try out another browser and just stick with IE.

OK, folks. It seems that the update to fix the problem has been rushed out, so this thread is now pretty much redundant.

I'll unlock it if I hear of the situation changing.
