Thread: Bling2Have

    Default Bling2Have

Hi I started putting my items on eBid about a month ago. I have viewers, but no one has placed a bid on any of my 17 items. Have I done something wrong when registering or when setting up my items for bid or buy. It seems strange that not one person has had an interest. Thank you, hope I will receive good information.

You are using the worse possible listing format of "on first bid"
These type of listings stay at the very bottom below the run til sold.
I don't know what type of seller + you are, but if it's life time then change them to 5 normal days

I have a feeling your shipping prices are putting buyers off - they seem very high to me. For instance: $14.95 priority mail for a small pendant - total weight 8oz?

    Welcome!

There is not enough detail. If I am going to make a purchase I want to know more about the seller. I think I may have too much information on mine Sometimes it just takes awhile to get things going. Spend some time checking out the listings for similar items.

I'm going to help you some more.
I notice you have reduced your shipping costs but still shipping as Priority Mail. I checked USPS and the cheapest PM rate (based on 4oz and 8oz) I can find is $5.80 - you are now charging $4 - so, if you actually ship PM you will be losing out by $1.80

May I suggest you use First Class Mail (if 4oz) @ $2.50 + USPS tracking $1.05 = total shipping $3.55 plus add any extra for packaging.

    For example:
    I just shipped an item - padded envelope - First Class Mail Parcel for $3.75 [2.20 oz = $2.32 + $1.05 tracking + .38c packaging = $3.75]

Also, you need to add Buy Now Prices alongside your bid prices (or just Buy Now prices if you prefer) if you want your items to upload to Google (they insist on Buy Now prices to be eligible for Google upload).

    Hope this helps you

Maybe try going to advanced search and check completed listings and look at items similar to yours to see how well they do here on ebid.
