Does PayPal have different names in other countries?

Or is it just called PayPal no matter where in the world it is used?

The reason I ask is that I was looking at a listing from India that showed the PayPal logo but the text underneath it called it PaisaPay.

Is that an Indian name for PayPal, an Indian name for a completely different payment processor or a mistake?

Paisapay is the Indian version of Paypal - and owned/operated by eBay.

Whilst owned by Feebay, that article states that it is a different payment system that is run just within India. So does that mean that PayPal payments are sent to PaisaPay and then on to the seller or that the two systems are completely different and, in this case, that the seller should not be using the PayPal logo or something else?

Anyone familiar with both PaisaPay and PayPal?
