Finally, we boarded the plane! Somewhere along the way we stopped and switch planes. Not sure where that was. I think I may have had a G&T too many on the flight.
This is all I saw the entire way to the U.S.
I do hope you were given the V. I. P. treatment Miss eBid
If she was having G&Ts she must have been

It depends on what you call trouble. Maybe she should come with you
Dear eBid Friends and Followers,
Sorry for the delay in writing. Just returned from a little side trip to the Windy City (Chicago, IL). Thank you Meebo! Think I might have been left behind if it weren't for your suggestion and I would have missed out on some great food. But I digress. And this thread is about The Big Apple (New York, NY).
On a beautifully clear winter afternoon our flight starts its descent into John F Kennedy airport. It has been over 10 hours since I left the Bristol Airport.
Bristol Airport is the first airport I had ever seen. It seemed quite large to a little lady like myself. But I really had no idea! I think all of Bristol airport would fit into 1 terminal at JFK. JFK is what the locals call John F Kennedy Airport.
The sensory impact of JFK is dizzying. I know some of you think that is because I had too many g&t's on the plane, but it's just not so. OK, maybe I did have too many g&t's on the plane or one glass of champagne too many, but this dizzy feeling was not alcohol induced. Between the people, the luggage, the signs, the stores, the restaurants, the golf carts, and the kiosks there is not one inch of open space. It was quite overwhelming. And then I saw …
And the dizzy feeling turned into heady excitement. I made it! I made it! My adventure is really beginning! Now if only I can get through customs.
