Search all items within a category

One particular feature I miss since moving across from another webiste is being able to search all listings within a category both current listings and completed listings. At the moment on Ebid you have to enter a keyword to search that category. I want to be able to see all in that category and then sort price low - high etc...

This is really handy to have for sellers.

If you do a search it searches all of eBid for the given string. Once you have done a search you will see just above the search results another search box where you can select any of the high level categories. Alternatively you can click on any of the categories to the left.

Alternatively if you want to see everything within a category just go to "Buy" (at the top of the screen) and click the down arrow to select a category. If you just want a particular sub-category click on "Buy" and that will bring up a screen where you can select sub-cats.

I'm with the OP ... the blanket search options you guys are offering doesn't allow you to see completed listings unless you add something to the search box.

You can do that from the main category list as shown by Bill.Going by your username,click the Music & CD category then in the top left corner there is the option to View all listings in Music & CD.
To do the closed listing search enter "a" as your keyword & tick "Search Descriptions" box too.

Wish this was still the case and didn't give an error that "a" is too short of a search.

To a certain degree,your example above actually works!
It's asking for at least two characters,so use the quotation marks to make it three.
