Extra Sub Categories ID Glitch

There is a problem with the numbering ID's of having extra sub categories which go beyond Z in the alphabet.

So for example if the parent category ID is 15 - then the subs follow on at 15a, 15b, 15c etc etc. Once Z is out of the way it goes 15aa and then logically should go 15ab, but it doesn't - every subcat thereafter remains at 15aa.

This would probably cause future complications for exporting and importing listings.

The glitch still is there. Just tried to do some new subcats and got aa again....

Sadly, many reported problems on the site are.

If you want to waste a few days then go back through the Glitches forum and see how many reported issues have never been addressed.

Tried to read...
yesterday i got an answer to this glitch and the answer said that the glitch was corrected.
So today i tried to do some subcats... which didn't work. So that is why i reported the glitch again. Thought the other eventual message about that was old.

Can you let us know where and how you were notified yesterday that this had been corrected?

Looking at the support ticket you opened I see a reply around 3pm this afternoon saying it was being looked into and another at 4.42pm saying it had been fixed for you.

If you were notified yesterday by one of our staff that it was fixed we apologise but I cannot see it.

Just receieved mails from ebid - it works now and i went and tried to make a new subcat.... works...
