Sad but true. My Mom stayed home with me and my siblings, (1970s) but apparently that's rare these days. Of course my sis is staying home with her son, so there are still a few stay at home Moms around.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Who remembers these from some years back? and where have they gone now?.....

    Spangles..... Square sweets in packet.

Swizzles..... Small round sweets in packet.

Jublies..... A sort of triangular ice block usually flavoured orange.

Dino Mints..... Ordinary mints but oval in shape.

Dentine Chewing Gum..... Gum that tasted a bit like dentist's mouth wash.

Kaylie..... Multi coloured sugar flavours sold loose from big glass jars.

Clarnaco Peppermint Creams..... About 15 in a box and upmarket costing 1s 6d (7-1/2p) today.

Fry's Five Boys..... Chocolate bar with different flavoured sections.

7 O'clock Blades..... Ordinary razor blades for shaving.

"OMO" Washing Powder..... A big contender with "Tide" washing powder.

Go on, take a trip down memory lane..... You know you want to.

I remember Dentine from the list, but that's about it. Oh and Sky Bars, my favorite candy bar as a kid, unfortunately they're a Northeastern thing so I can't find them down here, though they can be ordered online.

How is Ollie? Hope he's doing well.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
