My recollection is that it did not work very well and did nothing to attract new members.

If eBid ever did decide to do another giveaway I hope they would do something better. Though I would prefer eBid was sold on its many merits rather than free gifts.

There have been none since 2009, but going by the popularity I thought it might be a start for eBid to do this on a regular basis every year, especially if the press got a hold of it
