Did anyone see the Aurora Borealis?

It was visible on Thurs night, and was supposed to be on Friday night, too. We looked for it on Fri night, about midnight. It was lovely and clear. Could see a lot of stars, and we don't get toooo much unwanted light from cities here, but no luck.

I've seen them when I lived in Minnesota. Most amazing thing......I had hoped we'd get to see them here. OH has never seen them.

I haven't seen the northern lights for a long time, HerMajesty, and would love to see them again. A spectacular sight to behold!

Missed them this time round, but saw them when we lived out in the sticks on the farm a few years ago.

That's one thing on my bucket list, to see the Northern Lights. Guess I'll have to take a trip to Canada or Alaska if I want to, the pix I've seen on the Net are just gorgeous, have to see them in person before I pass on.
