Quiet also in London today, Petticoat Lane was quiet and normally on a Sunday you can't fight your way through the crowds.

Maybe it's down to all the power cuts on both sides of the pond? It was certainly quiet over night without posts from the American contingent.
Their weather is just crazy with the snow storms on one side of the country and massive drought on the other.

Interesting observation, I noticed this morning that there was nothing from my American students, very unusual! (I work online as an Associate Professor for a university in California - gives me enough money for my real job, selling on Ebid)

Yes, the northeast has been a bit messy according to my sister in NY. Lovely here in NC now the snow and ice have gone.
Oh Winston and I were outside today cleaning up the mess of tree branches that broke off in the recent snow and ice storm. We could always use an extra hand.
