Thanks everybody, it was a great birthday (what I can remember of it) I was also presented with one of the limited edition Shackelton 1907 expedition bottles of White & Mackay whisky's
The original blend that Shackelton took to the Antarctic in 1907 was thought to be lost but some canny Canadians found a few bottles hidden under the floorboards in Shackeltons hut so they flew a couple of bottles back to blighty and the clever blenders have reproduced it
I think it was given to me as some sort of investment, but to trust me with something like that......I wonder if it will make it to my 51st?
