Yes Majesty the dogs do fill a room by them selves, Rex was allowed to open 1 of his presents yesterday which was from one of the other dog walkers , he had great fun it ws a chew & a ball so all day yesterday there was a ball being thrown at our feet which we ignored so he would bounce it himself & then try again.

OH is doing the food shop and that's about it for today - apart from some more listing .......................... need more shelves in this little 'office' of mine as there's hardly any room left on the floor now !

Ugg is that sunshine I see, I think you had better not do my blood pressure Private Meebo !? Survived watching a film and some re-runs of the 'Misfits' with the cadets last night with rather a lot of Southern Comfort as O/H was out with his mates !
Have to get myself back into gear as have the neighbours coming round this afternoon for Christmas drinks - such a hardship having to open more wine !



The youngest cadet has a new lady in his life. A GP that he met on the train when he was coming home from Coventry ! She is quite a bit older than him but sounds an interesting lady as she spent 18 months as a doctor in the Antarctic. Brrrrrr rather her than me !!! She works in Swanage but they have met up twice this holiday already.

I'm feeling rather under the weather today after our solstice celebrations last night. I don't drink very often but managed more than half a bottle of mead. The meal was delicious and it was good to catch up with family. A very quiet day today and i have just managed to eat something. It is very cold and blowy here today. The christmas tree (in a pot) in the garden has already blown down twice

Good morning! Must have been one of those days yesterday as after a good start I became achy and lethargic, Just managed to get the energy to get back to bed where I spent most of the day sleeping. At least I am up now and I feel that I want to do something (kettle is on ) but I will try to control the urge to work Right, I hear Mil mumbling, so I better make tea and an extra strong coffee for those that want to wake up

good morning. Finally recovered from the hangover and am up and raring to go. Got lots of relisting to do and some new listings to add once i take the photos. Nice cup of lemon tea and a freshly baked roll then i'll be fit to go

It's chucking down again and with the strong wind it's lashing the front of the house - not nice

Already been some serious road accidents around here over the weekend due to the bad weather; just hope there'll be no more.

Can anyone advise - OH did roast lamb last night and the smell is all over the house - OK last night but not this morning. Tried lighting a match and managed to set the smoke alarms off !

But first another mug of tea
