Buttons if you pop in, I have just popped my three little wooden bears that you sold me on the tree with three wooden apples I got in the village. The bears are so cute.

Hi Sues...

Just had a change of mind about the bears and apples. I brought a huge sand worn and sun bleached branch home from the beach when on holiday a few years ago. It's standing in a corner of the hall and is usually a bit shabby chic looking with nothing on it. I have now put the little wooden bears, the wooden apples and two extremely large glass baubles on it. LOL, I hope the doggies don't knock it over. It looks a bit bare so will have to hang some fir cones on it as well, if I can find them. I might have to look online for other ideas to decorate it as my mind has gone blank.

Sues, i have been trying to photograph the tree but I'm doubled up laughing. I cannot get a decent photo - the tree lights are making it bounce back at me and the curtains have completed changed colour. LOL I'm hopeless. Will try again tomorrow.

Love minestrone soup Al and it's so healthy, can you send a bowl over please.

I feel incredibly lucky tonight, a friend sent a lovely bottle of Bordeaux for me. I think I will save it for Christmas Day. Far too nice to glug for the sake of it, but I'm willing to share if someone would like a glass!
