I posted this yesterday, but can't find the post anywhere. So I'll try again.

I've had a shop in ebid for over a month it seems but have had Absolutely NO action. Not even any questions about items. They've sold on other site, so I think I'll just stop here. Wanted to check to see what I need to do to stop here so I get no more charges. Have I been charged for an extension? Is that done automatically, or would I get notified?

I guess I won't continue

You signed up to a seller+ account. You get 5 free stores so no extra fees will be charged unless you sell something then theres a small 2% fvf. The seller+ account is for life.

To find a post just go to Settings and look under subscribed threads

Can't you have a seller+ account that is not for life, but a recurring subscription?

You are correct hurry, there is a seller+lifetime which can still get fees if you use certain features & then you have several seller+ options that have a recurring monthly charge unless you cancel the subscription.

You have that one listed on 3 sites.

On one place $79.00 + $12.00 shipping = $91.00
On the bay $79.00 + $13.81 shipping = $92.81

And here on eBid: $79.00 + $19.95 = $98.95


You only put on a few items 3 weeks ago and the above sort of sends out a message to buyers that you are not interested in selling your items here on eBid.

Just been looking at your listing for the harp. Beautiful Item.

Your listing is hard to read, because it's all in one block, and the important features are buried in there.

Can I suggest that you list the features (tuning wrench included, 2 1/2 octaves, etc), or use bullet points.
Those things may be the very thing a potential buyer is looking for.

The photographs are a little cropped, so don't do justice to the item.

You ask that if anyone outside the US wants to buy, they should contact you for a delivery price. They won't.
The harder you make it for someone to buy easily, the less likely they are to buy.

For heavier or larger items, it's difficult to give a delivery cost via courier, because you don't know whewre the buyer will be.
I usually work out how big and heavy it will be when packed, then give rates to various destinations which I get from the courier's website.
Making sure that it is understood that it is an estimate which can be confirmed when we know the exacy destinatiuon.

So, a large carpenter's plane weighing about 2 kgs, would be:
Germany £20
US & Canada £28
Thailand £30
Australia £32.

That gives an idea of the cost to the potential buyer, and they can ask for a specific price if they contact you.

With items as good as yours, I'm sure they will sell if presented well.
