I once went with a friend to look at a council house they were hoping to move into, the previos tenent had taken everything that was not nailed down, including the light switches and wall sockets.

everybody has given you very good ideas, yes when we moved here I brought 4 plants but had them already potted up & actualy told the people we were taking them, Am afraid we have moved & found that all the light bulbs had gone, also make sure you no whether they are baynet or screw fitting lights. otherwise you may have wrong bulbs.
Can imagin you trying to put as much into your car that you can plus the pets.

Sad news~ just rang Virgin who said 6 months ago, that all they would need was the new address, to carry on the service.

Today they tell me that don't supply that area ~BUT ~ want £190 for a cancelled contract.

Seems there is no fibre optic in that area.

So we need another supplier, quickly!

We move on the 6th.

We have moved twice.
Each time there were no lightbulbs in the new property.

This reminds me of the re-possed house I went to view about 10 years ago. The radiators had gone, all of the fitted kitchen, and they had a go at the bath too, but obviously gave up when they broke it!

Yikes, that's spooky! I've moved plenty and had a fair bit of cleaning to do each time, but fortunately nothing was obviously ripped out or stolen. Still finding goodies left by the previous tenant in my new house, an oven mitt, dog toys and several drink holders so far...
